There is so much to watch this week with more than one highly anticipated show to get into. Catch Ncuti Gatwa as he takes on the role of Dr Who. And make sure you watch Agatha Christie’s Murder is Easy starring Rye Lanes David Jonsson you won’t want to miss it.

Mog’s Christmas – Christmas Eve @ 7.45pm | Channel 4

Mog, the beloved family cat is struggling as the rest of the family are busy making preparations for Christmas. But when Mog scrambles up to the roof for safety, she actually has the most magical night before stumbling down the chimney, back into her rightful home and has the happiest Christmas. Voice cast includes Zawe Ashton, narrated by Adjoa Andoh.


Tabby McTat – Christmas Day @ 2.35pm | BBC One

Fred and Tabby McTat enjoy a contented life singing on the streets of London to delighted audiences. However one day when chasing a thief, Fred falls and breaks his leg and is whisked away in an ambulance. What will become of the busker’s cat left alone on the city streets? Stars Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísú as Tabby and Susan Wokoma as Sock.


Dr Who: The Church On Ruby Road – Christmas Day @ 5.55pm | BBC One & BBC iPlayer

The Church on Ruby Road sees the Doctor come face-to-face with the mythical and mysterious goblins as his life collides with Ruby Sunday, played by Millie Gibson. Little is known about Ruby Sunday as she was abandoned on Christmas Eve as a baby. Now living with her mum, Carla and grandmother, Cherry her world is about to be turned upside when she encounters the Doctor and the two set off on their first adventure together… Starring Ncuti Gatwa, Michelle Greenidge and Angela Wynter.


Ghosts Christmas Special – Christmas Day @ 7.45pm | BBC One

Mike’s mum Betty comes to stay, despite her wanting to be helpful, it isn’t long before she is driving Mike and Alison around the bend. But when Betty overstays her welcome, Alison and Mike don’t quite have the heart to tell her. Just as she decides to leave of her own volition, Betty suspects something is terribly wrong at Button House and adopts extreme measures to make the house safe and in doing so endangers the resident Ghosts. Will they come out of this unscathed?
